課程概述

Course Description: This course is designed to guide students through the then popular subgenre, the Gothic fictions, by close reading five of the classics. Audio-visual materials will be employed, if necessary, to illustrate certain issues and to give an overall understanding of the historical milieu. Lecture and discussion will be conducted in English.
